In 1987, at the age 30, I set a Personal Best by working out 362 days out of 365 days, with my football team I was coaching. I broke my Personal Best in 2017 at the age of 60, with 406 workouts during a 365 day streak. #nodaysoff. Did it with a different team – my Womens Lifting Team. I cut my entire football team in 2016 because of unprecedented laziness and weakness. Here’s my point – your mind is either a limitation or liberation. Your mind either holds you back or sets you free. The difference between a closed-mind and open-mind is the force behind your hunger. You either use hunger to put on weight by eating excessively or you channel your hunger, put on weight on a bar and lift it. To develop your mind to use hunger properly, find a coach/mentor who won’t reward your excuses or tolerate your apathy.
