Your mind will make up reasons why you cannot do what you made up your mind to do. When your mind believes that sacrifices have to be made, the mind tempts you to sacrifice working out for hanging out. Then your mind sacrifices eating right for binging out. Left unchecked, the imagined sacrifices force you to sacrifice your Personal Best Shape. Then you take it out on the world. The killer-pain of Personal Worst Shape manifests in anger, rage, and degrees of F’d-up attitudes toward the world around you. You toxify your world and then blame the toxic environment on the innocent.
