Every goal has a threat. Every objective has a threat. Everything, from threats to goals donâ€™t go away on their own. They have to be overcome. If theyâ€™re not, they overcome you.
If you want something bad enough, you have to not want something else even more. The Law of Survival â€“ something has to be done to not let the worst happen. If you donâ€™t take drastic action in the face of danger, the worst will happen. If you donâ€™t do something to stop a threat, it will happen. If you donâ€™t take action every day, history wonâ€™t repeat itself, you will repeat history.
Instead of looking for motivation to get what you want to happen, find motivation to avoid what you donâ€™t want to happen. The biggest mistake is trying to find the drive to make it big. The true drive is in not making it worse. The Law of Survival focuses on predicting the worst and working to prevent it. Predict the threat and overcome it. The threats to your objectives are obstacles that block your path. The biggest threat is inside your mind. The tired mind is your biggest threat to winning or success, by whatever definition you attach to it.
Make a list of what you donâ€™t want to happen. Identify everything you want to avoid and prioritizeÂ it on the list in starting withÂ worst-case scenario. It works each time. What worksÂ is preventing the worst from happening – what you don’t want to happen.Â Youâ€™ll work harder at preventing the worst than you will to make the best.
