3 definitions of insanity

Here’s Real-life Lesson#5889 I’ve taught football players for 40 years and college law enforcement students for 2 decades: another definition of insanity is doing nothing and expecting something.

Here’s another definition of insanity: do nothing big and expect something big. Here’s another: do nothing big and expect to get big.
Athletic Darwinism and Academic Darwinism reward those who endure the natural struggle to get strong in mind, body, and soul. They don’t reward The Effortless who consciously chose to do nothing.

The biggest gift you can give children is the gift of work ethic. The absence of work ethic has been the #1 cause of broken dreams and broken hearts in students and athletes I’ve coached and taught.

Children do what they learn. Children become what they learn. Work ethic is a learned behaviour.

Dreams don’t just happen. Nothing just happens except when nothing happens by doing nothing.

Without hardcore work ethic, adolescent dreams turn to nightmares. Those who can, do big things, get big, and win big. Those who can’t pay to watch those who can.
