Here’s an excerpt from my next book. It’s a conclusion I’ve reached after 40 seasons of coaching football. It’s the same lesson I learned from every profession I’ve worked in – the evil of complaining. Whether it’s self-generated or whether you’re attacked from the outside, complaining will kill your soul. Here’s the excerpt:

Complaining is draining. Complaining is a soul-killer. It kills the soul of any sports team, any business team, any organizational team where people are paid to solve problems instead of creating them. Complaining massacres workouts, goals, dreams, and anything you aspire to because the act of whining and listening to whining sucks the life out of your soul. It leaves you empty with no re-fill. – from my next book #winorloseitsyourchoice www.soulofalifter.com
